The most important relationship I have is with Jesus Christ. My wife Valerie and I have been married for 51 years, with the Lord as the third strand of our marriage. It is a joy to know that our children and grandchildren are walking with the Lord. (3 John 1:4)

The welcoming nature of Christ the Victor really appeals to us. I have over the years taught Sunday School, done hospital and home visitation, music and led youth groups and men’s ministry and served on church councils.

My primary qualification for any position in the church is that I am a sinner, saved by grace. My life verse is Michah 6:8 “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
