A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON VISITATION – I would love to visit with each of you. I think it’s important for a shepherd to get to know his flock and vice versa. If you are open to a visit, please call or email the church office at your convenience. Thursdays work best for me, but I can be flexible. Pastor Chase.

New Sunday School Superintendent – Hooray!
Pat Powell has graciously accepted to be our new leader for Kids’ Cove.  Let’s all give her our thanks and our support by offering to help in any way we can!   How about signing up to be a teacher or a teacher’s helper?

Food Pantry Update: CTV’s Food Pantry has always been a special outreach for our congregation. Thank you to everyone who has so faithfully served each week. During June, July and August the pantry served 660 households, which included 2,756 individuals. During the month of September, the pantry served 221 households. Thank you, God!

Office Manager Needed
The Church Council is considering hiring a paid Office Manager to handle the growing needs of our office and congregation here at Christ the Victor.  This position still needs to be approved by you, the voters, and will be brought before you at the Annual Meeting being held Sunday, October 23 at 11 am.  We are looking for an individual to work Monday through Friday, approximately 30 hours per week (between 9 am and 3 pm). The work hours may be adjustable to accommodate a highly qualified candidate. If interested, or if you know of someone who might be, please contact the church office for details and a job description.  In the meantime, we are doing our best to staff the church office with volunteers from the congregation Monday through Friday from 9am to Noon.

If you would like to volunteer in the church office, please contact Pastor Chase at pastor@christthevictor.net. Training will be provided.
